Chrysanthemums, or garden Mums, are a popular favorite because of their wide array of rich, dazzling colors - from white, to yellow and gold, pink, orange, bronze, deep red, maroon, violet and purple. Other symbols are abundance and wealth, cheerfulness, love (red), truth (white), and slighted love (yellow). The Chrysanthemum Throne is the name given to the position of Japanese emperor and the Imperial Seal of Japan is a crest of a 16-petal chrysanthemum.
